Senior Youth/Play Worker (Activity Coordinator) Netherton Enquiry Ref. 1237070

Job purpose Based in Netherton To lead in a multi-activity programme through the provision of a caring, stimulating environment and appropriate well-planned activities as set out in the Project Framework. Main Responsibilities To guide, support and enable children and young people in their personal, social and educational development to help them reach their full potential. To develop engaging and inspiring programme content based on people in the lead principles and effective participant engagement. Comments Requires residential, day trip and issue based sessions. Fixed term contract for 3 year (subject to continued annual funding), the appointment is subject to a 3-month probationary period. Funded by BBC Children in Need. Minimum Qualifications Hold a level 3 in any of the following: Children and Young Peoples Work Force Development/Play work/Youth Work. Experience and skills Experience of working with children 4 to 18 years. Experience of working with children and young people with additional needs 4 to 25 years

Hours: 20 hours per week

Duration: 3 years fixed term

Salary: 10.75 per hour
