Advanced Apprentice Residential Support Worker, Ainsdale Enquiry Ref. 1237090

Job purpose To work directly with children and young people and their families or carers within a Residential Childrens Home based in Ainsdale, Southport Main Responsibilities Planning and maintaining a living environment which is conducive to the wellbeing of the children and young people within the establishment, duties will include the following; You will assist with: All normal domestic house-hold tasks including cleaning and the provision of meals, as required to ensure the day to day needs of the children are met. Producing and monitoring individualised placement plans and risk assessments for children. Preparing children for admission, stays and moving on from the home. Comments Fixed term post for 15 Months. Initial Assessments Thursday 1st February 2018 Interviews Monday 12th February 2018 Minimum Qualifications Level 2 English and Maths or equivalent is Essential . Experience and skills You will be able to work as part of a team, talk to and listen to children, and motivate them.

Hours: 36 Hours per week. Unsocial hours including evening and weekend work.

Duration: Fixed term post for 15 Months.

Salary: National Minimum Wage for Age
