Early Years Practitioner /Learning Support 1:1 Waterloo 1237106

To ensure that the setting actively promote inclusive practise and supports children who have Special Educational Needs and Disabilities and to provide direct one to one support, working with a pupil with Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Main Responsibilities To ensure that relevant background information about individual children is collected, recorded and up-dated, and that all written records are completed To liaise with SENco to identify smart targets and implement interventions Support SENco in completing Individual Educational Plans (IEPs) in partnership with parents. To liaise with other professionals, including those from outside agencies

Hours: 11 hours per week, varied days as when required, bothmornings and afternoons. To be discussed.

Duration: Temporary up to July 2018 in the first instance

Application Process:

Qualifications Required: L3 or above qualification (CCLD, NVQ) and GCSE Maths and English Experience and skills You must be an experienced Level 3 who can build good rapport with pupils and colleagues, and have patience and strong communication skills. You will have a good knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage, and have experience in an Additional Learning Needs environment. Experience of working with nursery children is beneficial.
