Carer/Support Worker/PA - Netherton REF: DP/JR/DL

Description:

To provide 1:1 support to a 13-year-old boy diagnosed with Autistic Spectrum Disorder and PDA.

I am looking for a friendly, reliable, and caring person willing to get to know me and support me to attend SEN activities arranged by The Aiming High Team at Netherton activity centre.

10 hours per week term time 15 hours per week school holidays £ 11.44 P/H

Provide 1:1 support.

• Provide support and encouragement with all aspects of personal care.
• Always require a high level of supervision.
• Support me to participate in activities that I enjoy.
• Help to keep me safe.
• You must be friendly, empathetic, and enthusiastic about caring for others.
• Have experience of supporting children/adults with autism
• Have experience of supporting children/young people with additional needs. Willingness to build up and develop positive relationships.
• Be patient, kind and trustworthy.
• Good communication skills punctual and reliable.

An enhanced DBS check will be required before employment commences; this cost will be met by the employer
