Carer/Support Worker/PA REF: DP/JR/ANT SOUTHPORT

Description:

To provide support to a 4-year-old boy who is currently on the ASD pathway.

I always require close supervision particularly out in the community to keep me safe and support with all aspects of my personal care is required including toileting. I enjoy lots of interaction and play and I love to read and go on walks to the park. I am looking for a kind caring person who is willing to get to know me and understand my needs, support me with my personal care, help keep me safe and support me to go out with my family on days out.

8hrs per week Preferably on a Sat/Sun and maybe afterschool one day a week (To be mutually agreed with employer)

£11.44 p/h

Duties (day to day)

• Provide 1:1 support.
• To always provide close supervision.
• To spend time to get to know my personality and learn how I communicate my needs.
• To provide support and encouragement with all aspects of my personal care.
• Interact and play with me.
• Support to participate in activities that I enjoy and on outings with my family.
• Help to keep me safe whilst out and about.

You must be friendly, empathetic, and enthusiastic about caring for others.

-Have experience of supporting children/adults with autism

-Have experience of supporting children/young people with additional needs.

-Willingness to build up and develop positive relationships.

-Be patient, kind and trustworthy.

-Good communication skills

-Punctual and Reliable.
