Support Worker- Southport

About the role

15 hours per week - flexible.

£12.50 p/h

JOB PURPOSE

To support a young man (20 years old) with
autism, living in Southport.

He is a polite young man who appreciates a witty
sense of humour!

He is seeking a Support worker who is patient and will
encourage independence and improve confidence.

This young man would like to eventually
access employment or an apprenticeship.

Main Responsibilities
* Structured rather than spontaneous activities.
* Develop skills to enable independent living, e.g.
financial management, home tasks, using public transport, etc.
* Encouraging and supporting to access the local
community for social outings, e.g. coffee, shopping, haircuts.
* Assisting to rebuild confidence.

Experience and Skills required

Driver
essential
A trustworthy
individual who is willing to take the time to build a strong relationship.

An interest
in gaming and exploring the local community would be beneficial.
