Registered charity managing and delivering activities within a Community Centre alongside delivering out of school childcare across Sefton and surrounding areas.

Job Description

Working within a busy afterschool club at Farnborough Road, Primary School, Birkdale.

As
a Playworker, you will play an essential role in encouraging and facilitating
engaging play activities and working closely with other staff to create a
vibrant and enjoyable atmosphere for children within our breakfast and
afterschool clubs. This is a great opportunity for someone who loves working
with children and wants to make a positive impact on their lives.

Hours

Breakfast Club 7.5 hours per week, term time. Core hours 7.30am - 9am.

Afterschool Club

18 hours per
week -  term time
Core hours
2.30pm-6.00pm

Holiday Club

Additional hours may be available in holiday
club, but not guaranteed.

Qualifications

Playwork or
Childcare qualification desirable.
Experience in a play environment or in caring for
children (voluntary or paid), essential.

Salary

£12.21- £12.47 per hour, depending on qualifications.

Other Information

Satisfactory Enhanced DBS Disclosure
and references are required and will be processed by the Charity for the
successful candidate.
