looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Senior Playworker to join our team
and help create a fun environment where children can thrive.

Job Description

Based within a breakfast and afterschool
club at Lydiate Primary School, Lydiate, the Senior Playworker will;
* Be responsible for the management of an
afterschool school club for children aged 4-11 years.
* Ensure high quality provision that meets all
legal, Ofsted, health and safety, Early Years Foundation Stage framework
standards.
* Be responsible for the support, supervision
and development of staff and volunteers.
* Ensure that the local community, school and children
and families who use Fun 4 Kidz services are placed at the heart of everything
that the charity does.

Hours

Breakfast Club

7.5 hours per week, term time only. Core hours 7.30am - 9am.

Afterschool Club

18 hours per
week - term time, core hours
2.30pm-6.00pm

Qualifications

Level 3 Playwork
or Childcare qualification essential.
Experience in
a play environment or in caring for children (voluntary or paid), essential.

Salary

£13.51 per hour.

Satisfactory Enhanced DBS Disclosure
