£12.44 p/h

Hours: DAYS 3 x 12 hours shifts per week - on rota.

Duties will be varied and include supporting our residents with personal care needs and helping them to take part in a wide range of activities that support their health and wellbeing.

Every day will be different and you'll have the opportunity to use your people skills to make a real difference.

Help with personal care, such as showering dressing and toileting.

Provide help with eating.

Provide emotional support and help promote mental wellbeing.

Support with hobbies and physical activities.

Get to know service users and understand their individual needs and interests.

As one of our Senior Care Assistants, you will be responsible for assessing the individuals needs and formulating person-centred care plans, ensuring that medical, physical, and emotional needs are met.

Administering medication safely is paramount, all our senior care assistants are provided with additional training to ensure competency and knowledge of the medication used in our homes.

Personal Specification

You will have previous care experience within Older People’s care or within a dementia setting. It is preferrable to have a Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care.
