  • All of the carousel items, where used, have an aria role conflict. This fails WCAG 1.3.1 Info and Relationships (A), and 4.1.2 Name, Role, Value (A).

This function is set by the third-party carousel tool. We will investigate alternative carousel options.

What we’re doing to improve accessibility

Sefton at Work is doing the following to improve accessibility:

  • Known non-compliance accessibility issues will be reviewed and where possible, changes will be made to address the issues. Where we are unable to make changes, we will continue to note issues under ‘non-accessible content’.
  • Respond promptly to concerns raised about accessibility and address these where possible or provide reason where we are unable to make changes.  
  • Ensure new documents added to the website are tested for accessibility issues before being published.
